On Tuesday, March 5th, at 10 am, I observed Ms.
Sana’s Grammar 1-A class. I got there early, which was to my benefit, as we had
switched classrooms. Ms. Sana started the class with timed speaking
presentations. The students had two minutes to review their notes and one
minute to speak. The presentation was about the students’ hometowns. They
needed to use the correct verb tense, word order, and subject-verb agreement.
The next activity was going over pronouns. Students then came up with their own
sentences using pronouns, and any mistakes were noted and corrected afterwards.
Ms. Sana also went over possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives with the
students. Each student got a worksheet and had a few minutes to work on it
alone. The answers were gone over afterwards, and beautiful mistakes were also
reviewed. I really enjoyed observing the class, as the students really seemed
to enjoy being there.
