I observed Dr. Pollocks class where an activity was being done. Students had been broken up into groups which I feel lowered their affective filter and led to a comfortable environment where students were able to productively work together. They were given a worksheet with questions on them and students would receive papers in a game like fashion that would streamline the activity. Dr. Pollock would visit each group to observe and assist with any needed clarification and confusion. The class ran smoothly under his instruction and I feel like students enjoyed the activity while learning a great deal.
